Leo Clarke

Leo Clarke began his ballet training at age nine under the tutelage of Elbert Watson and Norbert Nirewicz. In high school Leo transferred to the Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington D.C. where he studied under Anatoli Kucheruk. After graduating from KAB Leo was employed by the Opera Nova Ballet of Bydgoszcz Poland. During his time there Leo danced regularly in soloist and principal roles. Leo also had the opportunity to work with several world class choreographers during his time abroad, including Jorma Elo and Robert Bondara. Leo Clarke returned to the United States in November of 2015 where he continued to work as a freelance dancer and instructor. Leo was contracted by Dance Alive National Ballet in June of 2016, and will be performing with the company during the 2016/2017 season.
