Dance Alive National Ballet Performances at the Reilly

CINDERELLA and MORE! – Friday, Nov. 3

A classic gem of a program with the best of beloved fairy tales mixed with dreams of the future. Suites from Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake ballets plus Constellations, a ballet by Kim Tuttle to music by resident composer Stella Sung with breathtaking projections from the Hubble telescope make for a fantastic program for young and old alike.  

 

THE NUTCRACKER – Tuesday, Dec. 5 

The all-time family favorite! DANB’s outstanding production of this most beloved ballet starts the Holidays off with a burst of joy.  Beautiful sets, beautiful costumes and beautiful professional dancers make this a special holiday gift. Sheer magic! 

 

THE RING – Saturday, March 17

DANB presents The RING, a fantasy story of Love, Romance, Greed and Power based on Wagner’s Ring cycle. Rugby, a rowdy ballet featuring the athletic prowess of the DANB men, Welson Trumura’s passionate  ‘Guitarra Latina’ guitar trio and pianist Kevin Sharpe’s lyric style complete this stunning program created by choreographers Kim Tuttle and Judy Skinner.
