Fhilipe Teixeira

Mr. Teixeira graduated from the Cristina Helena School in Belo Horizonte, Brazil in 2005 and immediately was asked to join the Sesiminas Dance Company and subsequently was promoted to soloist in 2006. He won the Silver Medal at Festival de Dança de Joinville and in 2007 was promoted to Principal Dancer with Sesiminas Dance Company where he danced leading roles in Don Quixote and Coppelia among others. He is an honored guest artist and judge in principal ballet events in Brazil and is considered one of the greatest talents in the country at this time. Among the principal pas de deuxs he has performed are The Nutcracker, Black Swan, Sleeping Beauty, Raymonda, Paquita, Flames of Paris, Diana and Acteon, and Grand Pas Classique. Mr. Teixeira has also performed many contemporary pieces to great acclaim, including Majissimo, from the National Ballet of Cuba, and works by Artistic Director of Sesiminas Dance Company, noted choreographer, Cristina Helena. Since joining Dance Alive National Ballet, Mr. Teixeira has been featured in numerous works including Phantom, Rivers of Belief, Heat, Zoom, Carmina Burana, Spring Waters, and Bob’s Ties.  He brings to the stage a strong presence and lyric grace.
