
Rosemary Deiorio
Rosemary DeIorio grew up in Ocala, FL, training both in Ocala and at Pofahl Studios in Gainesville. After attending the Harid Conservatory’s summer intensive, she was awarded the “Director’s Outstanding Student Award.” This was the first time the award was presented. She spent three years in Harid’s year-round program, training in the Vaganova method and gaining experience in dance styles such as Spanish/Flamenco, Character, Modern, and Jazz. Rosemary graduated as valedictorian and received the “Fred Lieberman Award for Excellence.” Since joining Dance Alive in 2019, Rosemary has performed a diverse repertoire in both classical and contemporary works. Among her favorite classical roles are Myrtha in Giselle; the Grand Pas Classique pas de deux; Sugar Plum Fairy, Dew Drop, and Arabian in The Nutcracker; Pas de Trois, Big Swan, and Hungarian Czardas lead in Swan Lake. Rosemary has also enjoyed being part of the creative process for new contemporary works such as At First Sight and What Remains by company choreographer Tales Ribeiro, and Finding Freedom by Christina Helena. In 2023, she was invited to perform at the Simpósio Internacional de Dança in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where she danced the Black Swan grand pas de deux. In 2025 Rosemary was deeply grateful to dance, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, and in 2026 she was honored to debut in Swan Lake as Odette/Odile. Rosemary holds a bachelor’s degree in business and organizational management and applies her skills as an administrative assistant for Dance Alive. Rosemary is excited to take on the 2026-2027 season and continue to develop her technical skills as a dancer as well as deepen her abilities as an artist.
