Luana Rayssa

Born in Brazil, Luana Rayssa, age 25, began dancing at six years old in Belo Horizonte. After studying at Grupo Corpo School, where she was exposed to contemporary dance, she spent a period at the Escola Municipal de Bailados de Ourinhos, where she participated in various contests. At 16 Luana joined, as an apprentice, the Cia Brasileira de Ballet in Rio de Janeiro. She was promoted to the corps and danced with the company for four years performing in Giselle, Swan Lake, Paquita, The Nutcracker, Walpurgis Nights, and many other great classics. She has also toured various cities. Luana brings a lovely performance quality to the stage.
