Celebrating 200 years of Alachua County from the Timucua to Tom Petty!

Dance Alive National Ballet presents a journey through time, beginning with Alachua’s historic roots and culminating in Rock On! A Tom Petty tribute ballet featuring the music of Gainesville’s own Tom Petty. See the stories and songs come to life at the Phillips Center, with collaborations from artist Margaret Tolbert, poet Lola Haskins, Florida Black Hat Troubadour Will McLean, videographer Houston Wells, and Gainesville’s Weaver Gaines. Pieces from the Matheson Museum will be on view in the Fackler Foyer. Family friendly.
