Ashley Brooke Lunn

American born, Ms. Lunn  joins DANB after dancing 5 years with the Slovak National Theatre and 3 years with the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre.   She was a finalist in the Youth America Grand Prix and was awarded the Silver Medal at the 2008 World Ballet Competition and a year’s scholarship at Accademia Internazionale Coreutica in Florence, Italy. 

Ms. Lunn was trained at Dance Space, Space Coast Ballet Academy and Accedemia Internazionale Coreutica in addition to summer programs at Kirov Academy, American Ballet Theatre, Miami City Ballet and Rock School of Dance.  

Repertoire includes solo roles in Sleeping Beauty, a Mid-Summer Night’s Dream, Swan Lake, Nutcracker, La Sylphide, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Diana and Acteon, Le Corsaire and Raymonda.


I was born in North Dakota, but I consider Vero Beach my hometown.

What I do in my spare time:

In my spare time I like to go on trips with my friends and relax with my dog.

Favorite movie:

There are too many good movies to name one favorite.

Favorite dance role:

I love many different dance roles but I would have to say my favorite is Aurora from Sleeping Beauty because I would like to believe that everyone deserves a happy ending.

Favorite vacation place:

My favorite vacation place is North Carolina.

Why I dance:

I dance because, the point to any art is transend the audience to a different world, and its an honor for me to be the artist to let people forget about any problems they might have even just for a couple of hours.
